Hi, I’m Rachel.

Who am I? Let me start with who I am NOT! I am not someone who is going to beat-around-the-bush. I’m a straight-shooter. I know what God’s Word says and it’s my one aim to live it, preach it and proclaim it as truth everywhere I go. I love to laugh, I think God has a real sense of humor and I like to tell Bible stories as funny as I read them in my mind. 

I love my family. My husband, Joey, of almost twenty years is my best friend. He support me in everything I do and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this life. My eight children drive me absolutely insane, because let’s be honest, eight is a lot, but they are also my favorite people in this world. They challenge me, amaze me, make me laugh and I am constantly thankful that God chose me to be their mom. Some of those kids have given me grandkids, and I am beyond blessed to be called “grandma”! I have four beautiful grandchildren and I adore the absolute snot out of them. 

I live in Scottsdale, Az, because after spending almost four decades in the midwest, I just needed the sunshine. Thankfully, God seemed to be calling us here, so phew! That worked out well! I love the sunshine-more than anyone could probably ever understand, I love humor, I love being real, and I love iced coffee! I have a thirty-three-year-old jeep and riding around in that with the wind blowing in my hair and my music cranked loud, is one of my favorite things to do. I think life is pretty simple: love God, love people. He fills in the rest and it’s our job to trust Him.
